It’s time for our LEVEL 3 family to join us for the 2026 Moorpark Country Days parade on Saturday, October 3rd! The first 25 students to join our group by September 12th GET A FREE LEVEL 3 PARADE SHIRT!
We need all of our LEVEL 3 family to join us as we walk down High Street representing the spirit of our Dojo! One of the most endearing aspects of being part of a martial arts studio is the camaraderie and family-like connection created among our members. We are proud of each of you and the reputation we’ve established in our community and want to share that with Moorpark.
This event creates positive memories for your family and our Dojo. Kids feel like super-stars and adults inspire onlookers who see people just like them doing something great! We genuinely value your presence - you matter to our Dojo and community. Parade participation details (check back for updates Thru event day):
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A PEDESTRIAN PASS TO JOIN OUR PARADE GROUP - CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD!
ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN: We are parade group (group # TBA - we meet in the Walnut Canyon School parking lot). All participants must be in the staging area at their assigned location no later than 9:00 a.m - there is no padding to this schedule - this is the time. Parade begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Meet at Walnut Canyon school on Casey Road. Plan ahead for parking! See more details about arrivale and parade route below.
DRESS CODE: Students will wear LEVEL 3 parade shirt (or any LEVEL 3 shirt if you missed the parade shirt order deadline) with black or white Gi-pants or shorts, belt optional. Please avoid wearing any items that cover your t-shirt design - the goal is to look uniform and represent! We will have a small wagon for backpack storage. Family members of students - wear a LEVEL 3 shirt if you have. If not, then wear any combination of top and bottoms in black, white, red, orange, or yellow with comfortable walking shoes. Dress for the weather - hat, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes. Be sure your apparel is a clean and respectful representation of our studio (nothing stained, tattered, torn, cut, political, polarizing, or inappropriate, etc).
Other things to bring: WATER BOTTLE, sunblock, sunshields, and if needed emergency medicines or any other personal supplies.
Conduct & Etiquette: Walk, smile, wave, and CHEER for your group! Please do not leave the group once we are walking. Spread out and be comfortable. No giving or taking items from parade spectators. Be respectful to ALL event-goers - you represent LEVEL 3.
Street Fair: Send a friend to our booth (booth # To Be Announced - but just look for the LEVEL 3 logo) for a special opportunity to JOIN OUR DOJO - this day only!
Parade STAGING & ROUTE:
Route will begin at Walnut Canyon Elementary School, follow through Casey Road → Moorpark Ave → High Street!
Staging Area – Parade staging will be at Walnut Canyon Elementary
Parade Participant Drop off &/or Pedestrians participants:
Head North on Spring Rd, Turn Left on Charles St, Drop off at Moorpark Civic Center, then walk to Check-in at Casey Rd.
Drop off Vehicles will be able to access and exit Moorpark Civic Center parking lot until 9AM
If you need to leave between 9AM and 12PM DO NOT PARK IN THE MOORPARK CIVIC CENTER PARKING LOT - Access out of the lot will be closed during the parade, and you will be unable to leave the parking lot until the parade concludes.
PLEASE SHOW AND SHARE PEDESTRIAN PASS TO ENTER CIVIC CENTER ENTRY
Pedestrian pass will be provided during the week before the parade
Any Participant who is walking in the parade, and not on a float or motor vehicle will exit left at Magnolia S
Please be sure to completely clear High Street, so the parade can continue smoothly
